Aliyekuwa  Katibu Mkuu wa Chama cha Demokrasia na Maendeleo (Chadema), Dk. Willibrod Slaa, ameajiriwa katika duka kubwa la bidhaa za majumbani (Supermarket) la Costco lililopo Oakville, Toronto nchini Canada, imebainika.


Dk. Slaa, kwa sasa anaishi nchini Canada alikokwenda kwa masomo, tangu alipotangaza kuachana na siasa Septemba 1, mwaka 2015.

Kwa muda wa wiki kadhaa, ziliibuka taarifa katika mitandao ya kijamii kuwa mbunge huyo wa zamani wa Karatu, amemaliza masomo yake na sasa anafanya kazi katika moja ya maduka makubwa ya bidhaa mbalimbali nchini humo – Supermarket.

Supermarket ya Costco anayofanya kazi Dk. Slaa akihudumu kama Mshauri wa Mauzo (Sales Advisor), akilipwa Dola za Marekani 10 (zaidi ya Sh 20,000) kwa saa, ina hadhi kama Nakumat, Shopers, Imalaseko, Game na maduka mengine makubwa nchini.

Akizungumza na Gazeti la Mtanzania jana kwa simu , Dk. Slaa alisema kuwa kwa sasa anaishi kwa kazi ya mikono yake  kwani ili aweze kuishi anahitaji kufanya kazi zaidi ya mbili hadi nne kwa siku.

“Niko, ninafuatilia matukio Mutukula (ziara ya Rais Dk. John Magufuli jana). Siku zote nimesema ninaishi kwa jasho na kazi ya mikono yangu. Canada ili uishi vizuri, unahitaji kazi zaidi ya mbili au tatu mpaka nne. Hayo nimeweka wazi, sijui jambo jipya kama mtu alikuwa hafuatilii.

“Mimi ninafanya kazi PWD/CDS/COSTCO kama Sales Advisor, baada ya kumaliza masomo yangu hasa Interpersonal Communication. Costco ninakofanya kazi ina members (wanachama) 10,000.  Kwa siku wanaofika Warehouse ni kati ya 5,000 hadi 7,000,” alisema Dk. Slaa.

Mbali na hilo, alisema kuwa pia anafanya kazi nyingine ikiwa ni pamoja na ushauri (Consultancy).

Alisema kila mara amekuwa akiwataka Watanzania na vijana wafanye kazi kwani fedha haziji kwa kukesha kwenye mtandao wala propaganda.

“Canada ni kazi, Profesa wa Chuo Kikuu anafanya kazi ya Uber. Sijui kama Uber inafahamika Tanzania, ni dereva Taxi kwa kutumia gari lake binafsi. Ofisa wa Serikali usiku anaosha vyombo hotelini.

“Ndiyo maana familia ina magari mawili au zaidi, TV, nyumba ya kisasa, chakula cha kisasa. Wanatekeleza sera ya ‘Hapa Kazi Tu’ kwa matendo. Nadhani nimekupa taarifa za kutosha ikiwa ni pamoja na kujibu propaganda kuwa nilihongwa mabilioni.

“Niwahakikishie tena, wakati wa kusoma nilikuwa na scholarship, tangu nianze kazi ninaishi kwa jasho la mikono yangu. Mke wangu yeye ameingia Chuo Kikuu cha York baada ya Diploma yake na bado anapata scholarship.

“Ndiyo maana tuna uwezo wa kuwa na magari mawili aina ya Jeep na Dodge, ukifanya kazi utaishi vizuri. Hii ni pamoja na kugharamiwa bima ya afya (Health Insurance), watoto kusomeshwa na Serikali ya Canada,” alisema Dk. Slaa.

Mei mwaka huu, Dk. Slaa, alisema hana mpango wa kurudi nchini kwa sasa na kwamba taarifa zinazosambazwa kwenye mitandao ya kijamii hazina ukweli wowote.

Hata hivyo, Dk. Slaa ambaye alipata kuwa Mbunge wa Karatu kwa vipindi vitatu mfululizo, hakuweza kuainisha mazingira yaliyomfanya aondoke nchini na kwenda kuishi ughaibuni.

Septemba, 2015 wakati wa Uchaguzi Mkuu, Dk. Slaa alijiweka kando na siasa, kwa kile alichokieleza kutofautiana na viongozi wenzake ndani ya chama chake juu ya masharti ya kumpokea aliyekuwa mgombea urais wa Umoja wa Katiba ya Wananchi (Ukawa), Edward Lowassa.

“Sina tabia ya kuyumbishwaa, sina chuki na mtu yeyote, sipendi siasa za udanganyifu na propaganda. Nimeachana na siasa tangu Julai 28, 2015, baada ya kuona misingi ya chama nilichoshiriki kukijenga imepotoshwa,” alisema Dk. Slaa siku alipotangaza kuachana na siasa.

Alisema sharti la kwanza ambalo alitaka Chadema izingatie, ni kiongozi huyo wa zamani ndani ya Serikali ya CCM, kujisafisha dhidi ya tuhuma ya kashfa ya sakata la Kampuni ya Kufua Umeme ya Richmond aliyohusishwa nayo akiwa Waziri Mkuu.

Dar es Salaam. Jeshi la Polisi Kanda Maalum ya Dar es Salaam linamtuhumu Dk Louis Shika kutumwa na mfanyabiashara, Said Lugumi, kukwamisha mchakato wa kuziuza nyumba zake kwa mnada.

Akizungumza na Mwananchi leo (Ijumaa), Novemba 10, Kamanda wa Kanda hiyo, Lazaro Mambosasa amesema mazingira ya mnada na jinsi alivyokuwa akifika bei ya kununua nyumba hizo yamelifanya jeshi hilo lihisi ametumwa kukwamisha uuzaji huo.

“Aliwekwa na Lugumi mwenyewe ili mnada usifanyie ingawa sina fact (vielelezo) za kudhibitisha hilo, ila alichokuwa anakifanya kinatufanya tuamini hivyo. Alikuwa ana top (anapandisha) bei kila nyumba ili washiriki wengine wasinunue,

Ila jinsi alivyo, kwa maana ya uvaaji na kuongea kwake watu walitia mashaka kama ataweza kununua ndipo akatakiwa kutoa asilimia 25 na kushindwa kulipa. Tunaendelea kumshikilia kwa mahojiano,” amesema  Mambosasa

Mwananchi lilipotaka kujua iwapo mtuhumiwa huyo amemtaja Lugumi katika mahojiano ya awali, Kamanda Mambosasa amesema upelelezi unaendelea na umma utapewa taarifa utakapokamilika.

Raunchy singer Nonhlanhla "Skolopad" Qwabe has clapped back after Zodwa Wabantu said she is still crawling in this game.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Skolopad claims she is ready to take her beef with Zodwa to the next level and has promised that there is still more drama coming up.

"The beef is about to go from mincemeat to a new level. Zodwa has made it clear that she has a problem with me, when I didn't have a problem with her. The only difference between her and me is that she has (DJ) Tira. She is like a trailer, always following Tira, while I am a car doing it without anyone's support," she said.


The feud started after Zodwa refused to take a picture with Skolopad at the Feather Awards nominations party in Johannesburg. Skolopad says she was mostly unfazed by Zodwa's shade and only felt that she needed to address it after the Zodwa questioned her singing ability. 


Zodwa also previously stated that she is "not threatened by Skolopad, she is still crawling in this game."
"After I commented that me and Babes Wodumo are different to her because we are dancers and singers while she maybe wants to be us because she is just a dancer, she told me that she was also an artist and said that she had never heard of my songs," the singer said. 


We'll have to wait and see if Zodwa takes her bait, as the 'cat claws' seem to be primed for a fight.

I was alone at home that afternoon when Michelle ran into our room in the campus with a big smile on her face. I almost thought she had won a lottery. Out of the excitement and despite the hunger, I asked,
‘Babe you win lottery and you don jam mugu?’
She was still thanking God for deciding to turn her life around after all these years of suffering and penniless lifestyle? I was amazed as I stared at her in shock. I have never seen Michelle in that excited mood since we became roommates. She called me by the name we usually addressed ourselves with.
My rommie, guess what happen on my way back from school. I replied that I am poor guesser . Let me break the bombshell to you babe. I am now a very rich girl. She announced. I burst out with a loud laugh and dismissed her excitement with a wave of the hand.
She insisted that she was not dreaming. I told her to go straight to the point before I lose my patience. She begin to narrate how she met this very rich Chief  who gave her a ride back home where she stood under the scorching sun.
According to her, the Chief happens to be a multimillionaire with businesses all over the country and abroad. She she said the chief had invited her to have dinner with her at a hotel somewhere in town. She said the chief said she could bring her friend along with her. I was becoming excited too at the thought of making some cool cash from the mugu chief.
She pleaded with me to accompany her to see the chief, After much persuasion, I gave in to her request and accompanied her that night. As at 7:45pm, the Chief’s driver was already waiting outside the campus with the latest Range Rover Sports. We got to coded hotel. The chief  was already waiting for us. He had also placed a reservation for us.
We had a very nice time with the chief. The man had plenty of cash to throw around. The man was simply swimming in money. He was also so friendly and very generous. While going home that night, he gave us a brand new notes totaling N200, 000 naira each. Imagine making 200k one night. It was a jackpot. Soon I  was becoming jealous of my friend.
I was asking myself why I wasn’t th one in her position. A week later, Chief bought a Mercedes jeep for Michelle and actually gave her the keys to a flat in Lekki Peninsula. Being her closest friend and roomie, she begged me to move in with her which I quickly agreed without much conviction.
We started living large. Chief was just so kind and generous to us. We had everything at our beck and call. Just like a whirlwind, we became the happening babes on campus and within the Lekki axis.
I got so carried away that I was enjoying the money without knowing where it was coming from.  Chief even took my friend to Paris for shopping. Deep down I was so sad and filled with jealousy for her. She noticed I didn’t take the news kindly to the news. But she promised to buy me stuff from Paris.
A few days later, she left with Chief. That was the last time I set my eyes on Michelle. Her journey was supposed to last for two weeks but a month later, I did not hear from her. I became scared because I was left alone in the house. She never communicated with me right from the first day she left the house.
I came home from school one evening and met Chief at home, out of excitement I rushed into Michelle’s room thinking that she has finally returned but to my utmost astonishment, Michelle was nowhere to be found.
I rushed out immediately to ask Chief, he explained that she will come back later that her trip was a bit extended and immediately changed his countenance towards me by telling me that he actually made a mistake by going out with my friend earlier on.
He promised me heaven and earth if only I could date him secretly without Michelle’s knowledge. I told him that I wouldn’t be able to stab my friend behind her back, that she has been very good to me. He asked the driver to bring his briefcase, he brought out N500, 000, kept it on the table and asked me to think about his request and left.

A woman has cried out for help after some wildlife authorities stormed her house and attempted to take-away her son – a massive snake – which she says its one of her twin children.

Nalongo Barbara Nvannungi, a woman in Nakawuka, Wakiso district in Ugandan, keeps a python at her home, but when wildlife authorities wanted to take it away, she claimed that “he” is her child, saying that she gave birth to twins in 2008, and reasoned that they cannot take her child away from her.
Residents are worried that the python could present a danger to the village and they went to Uganda Reptiles Village, Entebbe, asking them to take the python, but the mother is against taking away “her” child.
“I am the one who gave birth to him and can take care of him. A parent can’t fail to take care of her child,” she told Bukedde TV’s local Luganda news bulletin Agataliiko Nfuufu.
“I am asking that they let me be with my child,” she said while lovingly stroking the python!
Nvannungi says that her husband Salongo Patrick Lubega passed away in late 2007 when she was pregnant.
However, she says the only witness who can confirm that she gave birth to the python is her sister because she didn’t give birth in hospital.
“When I felt labour pains, I went with my sister to find transport to take us to hospital, but the child came fast and I gave birth to him in a garden,” she says.
“I also gave birth to his sister a few moments later,” she says. The sister, a girl is a human being not a reptile.

Nvannungi’s sister (on the left) is the only witness who can attest to the fact that she really gave birth to the reptile.
She says relatives have abandoned her and the snake is the only relative she knows, so they can’t take him away from her.
Nalongo Nvannungi says that unfortunately ever since the passing of her husband who left her pregnant, she has not been able to find another man as every man is worried that she will give birth to another snake. “They fear me,” she said.
Nalongo says she cannot allow wildlife people to take her child to a zoo. “I can’t go visiting him among animals, because he is a human being,” she said.
She added that no one else can take proper care of her child because she feeds him on more 40 eggs on a daily basis and a chicken every two days.
She asked residents to keep calm, saying that she is taking proper care of her “child”. She even built “him” a house and says that he will not harm the locals.
However, the TV station reached out to a medical doctor, Joseph Wasswa Ssenkubuge who said that it is impossible for a human being to give birth to a snake, adding that it is a scheme the woman could be using to make money off curious people.

American-born Nigerian recording artist, Davido helped a little boy who did a rendition of his hit track ‘If’ resume school today.
Recall that the 5-year-old went viral recently after an Instagram user posted a video of the little boy singing to ‘IF’ and it was captioned ‘This boy is not in school, only came to visit the younger sister in school, when I saw him singing ’30million for my account’ without a slippers on his leg.. Wish I could do more for you kid.’

Davido took to Instagram and wrote;


‘OBO GOT YOU FOR LIFE KID!!! NOTHING MAKES ME MORE THAT U FINALLY GET TO START SCHOOL!! 30 billion for ur account oooo!!!! WE RISE BY LIFTING OTHERS!!’
